About Rock>L Productions

Raquel Giberstein serves as the Founder and Director of ROCK-L PRODUCTIONS, LLC.

Capitalizing on her expertise as a talent manager, liaison and creative consultant based out of New York City since 2000, Raquel (affectionately nicknamed "Rocky" within the industry) cultivated ROCK-L PRODUCTIONS into a lead boutique talent service agency for exquisitely unique entertainers.

ROCK-L offers what no other agency can from sourcing inventive out-of-the box talent to being a strong presence for the entire duration of a project, seeing it through from beginning to end. With a roster of hand-selected artists, Rocky personally oversees and promotes their careers, ensuring their appearances are the ultimate television, film, stage or event experience. In doing so, Rocky maintains close developmental relationships with her talent built on mutual respect, appreciation, and knowledge for their craft. When she represents a client, she learns the ins-and-outs of their talent and takes great care to represent them in the best light possible. In doing so, when she pitches them to a client, she comes from a place of deep understanding. ROCK-L talent includes graduates from the Sideshow, Circus, Variety Arts, Dance and Burlesque worlds, all with their own specific niche for the fantastic and spectacular.

Rocky carved out her career using her instinctual knack of recognizing potential talent, spotting an outrageous act, developing their skills and executing their vision. As a former performer herself, Rocky began discovering talent and networking while she was a professional tour dancer and choreographer in both mainstream and underground club venues. There she discovered some of the most eclectic artists in New York City and maintained steadfast contacts and business relationships with many booking affiliates around the globe. At a time when there were no management options for these types of artists, Rocky earned a word-of-mouth reputation as the go-to gal offering breathtakingly fascinating talent. ROCK-L virtually took the “Broadway Danny Rose” approach and transformed audience curiosity into popular demand for her roster of selected rare artists.

Rocky coaches artists on image and magnifies their potential by honing their cutting edge look and refining it into a presentation package for corporate venues and commercial opportunities alike. Her success stories include Grindergirl, who became a household name by appearing on The Late Show with David Letterman as a weekly fixture for six years; Mini-Kiss, the all little person KISS tribute band who now can be seen alongside the real KISS in a regularly running Dr. Pepper commercial; and AlieNatioN, a red carpet duo and the first “aliens” to be included in VOGUE magazine. Rocky helped skyrocket the rise of Terra Jole’ as Mini-Britney and now Mini-Gaga’s popularity. As Mini-Britney, Mz. Jole’s career went from one small local gig to headlining tours, specially requested on high-profile celebrity projects and scoring roles in feature films. Under Rocky’s guidance, this is just the beginning for Mz. Jole’.

With a bursting demand for specialty entertainment in the realms of television, film, music and corporate functions, events are now trending to focus more on spectacle. ROCK-L has expanded with many liaisons to well-connected agencies such as music management firm, THE INVASION GROUP LTD, in-house publicity agency, Sparkes PR, and House of Hallucination designer Hector Perez and costumer Kiva Kahl, to name a few.

ROCK-L clients have been splashed all over today’s media including New York Magazine, Hollywood Reporter, OK Magazine, Radar, USA Today, PAPER magazine, VOGUE, CNN, E! Daily Top 10, Jimmy Kimmel Live, The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Chelsea Lately, CW Morning Show, TMZ, MTV, VH1, and more. They have performed on The Late Show with David Letterman, Billboard Awards, and the T-Pain Tour. In addition, they’ve performed at the Tribeca Film Festival, for Sir Richard Branson events, Marc Jacobs, Jean Paul Gautier, Gen Art and the legendary underground club THE BOX-NYC.

Above all else, ROCK-L PRODUCTIONS’ mission is to encourage people to continue to think and dream extraordinarily. She founded ROCK-L on the premise that people by nature want to see things they’ve never seen before and are deeply inspired to carve their own path by their experience.

Rocky is a first generation New Yorker of Panamanian- Venezuelan descent. She resides in Soho, NYC with her pet snake; a Jungle and Coastal Python mix named Frankie Diamond Skully.
